As the Client Care Coordinator, I’m often the first person you’ll connect with at Kindred Roots. In that role I strive to cultivate a warm, down-to-earth atmosphere where you can kick off your shoes, settle in, and truly be yourself.
I believe that this human-first, down-to-earth approach creates an environment where authenticity, compassion, and genuine connection thrive. This is also the place from which I guide clients in their own energy work.
As a Level II trained Reiki practitioner, I offer light energy sessions that gently complement the more cognitive aspects of talk therapy. Where therapy may explore story, pattern, and perspective, energy work creates space to settle the nervous system, reconnect inward, and remember the truth of who we are beneath our experiences. I offer a steady space for clients to soften and receive.
Having explored non-conventional healing modalities for over 20 years, I have personally experienced the healing and peace that energy work can offer. Reiki became a natural extension of my lifelong orientation toward helping and has become a sustainable and spiritually aligned way of supporting others on their healing journeys.
My presence is calming, grounded, and intuitive.

My “Go-To” modalities
Sessions may include Reiki, intuitive light energy channeling, subtle sound elements, chakra balancing, and mantra. Jess approaches this work with intention and neutrality. In fact, she prefers to receive minimal background information prior to sessions, as she finds that releasing the client’s story allows her to remain open and unobstructed in her connection to spirit and any insights that may arise. This creates a clear, grounded space free from expectation or interpretation.
Sessions offer an alternative way of supporting nervous system regulation, inner reconnection, and remembrance of who you are underneath it all. At Kindred Roots, we believe healing happens in real, human spaces and her work is one more way that journey is supported.
Sessions for children and youth under 16 are offered in the presence of a parent or caregiver, helping create a sense of safety, connection, and support within the space. These sessions are often shorter, more flexible, and guided by the child’s comfort and readiness in the moment. Often, caregivers find the calming nature of the session
what to expect from an energy session
energy work SHOULD FEEL LIKE:
a steady space for clients to soften and receive the gifts stored within.
