Allegra Taylor (she/her)

(Pronounced Ah-lee-gra)

Founder, Clinic Director & Therapist, MSW BSW RSW

I live in Okotoks, Alberta with my husband, Elliott, and our two mini Aussies, Indie and Aspen. I describe myself as an extroverted introvert. To thrive, I need adventure, travel and stimulation by day, followed by total solitude as a couch potato by night.

I pride myself on keeping the vibe laid-back and comfortable. Therapy does not need to be overtly clinical to be effective; real growth comes in the form of radical self acceptance and authentic connection. My goal is simple: to share what I've learned in a down-to-earth way and help my clients take back control of their lives and well-being.

My Therapy Style is Relatable, Humorous, Intuitive & Direct

My “Go-To” Therapy Models

When it comes to education, certifications or new opportunities, I am always the first person to jump at an opportunity to grow.

I graduated from high school early, jumping right into my post-secondary studies. I was a member of multiple provincial boards, student organizations and an activist for education around geriatric social work.

By 24 years old, I had graduated with a Master’s degree, published multiple peer-reviewed research studies with Canadian federal grant funding, presented my findings on national and international stages and solidified a career in my chosen field. Two years later, I was teaching at the University where I am an alumnus.

By 26, I had decided that a normal “career” was never going to be enough for me, so I leapt blindly into business ownership (which, let me tell you, is not a key part of what you learn in social work school). Over the following years, I have elected to take numerous trainings which continue to strengthen my ability to support my clients and change the face of traditional therapy.

Status quo is never enough for me, and I am addicted to the pursuit of knowledge and personal development.
